Scope
Probea (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy (“this policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect the information you provide through this website.
This policy applies only to the Probea website at probeaai.com. The Probea application at app.probeaai.com processes candidate profiles and conversation history; it requires a separate privacy policy and is not covered here. This policy must not be read as covering both.
Information we collect
This site has no registration and no accounts, and there is no form you can submit, so we do not collect your name, email address, telephone number or company details through it.
The technical information we collect automatically is limited to the ordinary request details produced in the course of serving the site — IP address, browser type and time of access — together with the aggregate measures described under “Analytics” below.
Email you choose to send us
The “Request a demo” buttons open your own mail client. We receive whatever you write only if you actually send the message.
Email you send us is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, and is then deleted.
How we use information
We may use the information we collect for the following purposes: to provide, improve and personalise our website; to communicate with you — replying to your enquiry, working out whether Probea fits how your team works, and arranging a demonstration; and to comply with legal requirements and prevent unlawful activity.
We do not use it for any purpose beyond those, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Sharing and disclosure
We will not share your personal information with third parties except as set out in this policy. We may share or disclose your information: with your explicit consent; or where required by law, or to protect our legitimate rights and property.
To run this site we use Amazon Web Services for hosting and delivery, and Plausible Analytics to count visits. Beyond those, this site transmits your information to no third party.
Data security
This is a static site. It stores no data you submit on any server of ours, and the whole site is served over HTTPS.
For the content you send us by email, we are committed to keeping it secure, using a range of security technologies and processes to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page together with the latest updated date. Please check back periodically for our current privacy policy.
Where a change materially alters how we handle personal information, we will say so by appropriate means.
Cookie policy
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It therefore shows no cookie consent prompt.
If this site later introduces cookies or similar technologies, we will update this section first, and seek your consent separately where the law requires it.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless, leaves no identifier in your browser, builds no profile of you, and does not track you across sites.
What it records is limited to: page views, language switches, aggregate measures of time on page and scroll depth, and clicks on links leading off this site — the only ones this site currently has are to app.probeaai.com and to the MIIT filing registry. All of it is aggregate data and none of it is used to identify anyone.
Storage and transfer
This site is hosted and delivered globally by Amazon S3 and CloudFront, so your information may be stored and processed globally, which may include storage and processing on cloud infrastructure.
Data protection law in those regions may differ from the law of your own country or region. Where we transfer your personal information to another country or region, we will take measures to protect it and to ensure compliance with applicable law.
Third-party links
This site contains links to other websites, for example the MIIT filing registry.
Please note that we accept no responsibility for the content or the privacy policies of those websites. We recommend that you read each of their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under applicable law you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to restrict or object to our use of it, and to complain to a supervisory authority.
If you wish to exercise those rights, or have any question about how we handle your information, please email us.
